![]() ![]() ![]() I may even get a second SSD dedicated to games. So it may be (maybe!) that the Steam digital download for PC of this game will play more fluently than the disk version, which means that having a Steam key will be a very good thing. The digital download of DS2 seems to be more or less free of some of the loading issues, but apparently the best experience is to install a digital (PS Store) download on an SSD replacement of the original, slow PS3 hard drive. The game itself runs smoothly but because you need to reload often after death and keep looking at your stats frequently, I find the overall experience to be much slower than DS1. Another thing on PS3 is that the DVD seems to be constantly running, which on the cheap PS3 Slim is very noisy and makes me worry about disk longevity. The best and easiest way to mod games is to set up a free account with Nexus Mods. ![]() It feels as if the game loads the images of items from a slow internet server every time (but I think of course it does this from the slow DVD). Also feel free to get acquainted with our ELDEN RING Trainer, the latest FromSoftware title that WeMod supports. Installing mods is actually a pretty simple process even for the uninitiated. I know this is about the PC version but still want to mention that the PS3 version I've been playing at the moment (while I wait for the 25th) has incredibly long load times in-game, including menu options and inventory screens (!). ![]()
